Shop Supervisor 2 - 2nd Shift

Plans and assigns work to hourly shop personnel to attain on-time porduction objectives. Establishes and controls procedures to meet production schedules, recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating efficiency and working conditions. Ensure proper staffing, training, motivation and safety of assigned employes. Recommends or initiates personnel actions including promotios, transfers, disciplinary measures, etc., in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Maintains necessary record and coordinates activities with other departments. May perform special projects as assigned.

Skills Required:
High degree of mechanical aptitude; strong manufacturing and machining knowledge; demonstrated ability to lead and improve performance of shop personnel; ability to work independently. Demonstrated supervisory skills during three (3) years of directly related experience in respective trade, craft or skill.

Education Required:
High school diploma or GED.

Education Desired: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Industrial/Engineering Technology, Industrial Opeations or related field.
