Serial
Number and Model Number
are located to the left hand
side of the hydraulic motor, stamped into the base. Always refer
to the Serial Number and Model Number when requesting information
and/or service parts.
WARNING!
If a winch ever
exhibits any sign of erratic operation, or load control difficulties
(i.e. load creeping or chattering) appropriate troubleshooting
tests and repairs should be performed immediately. Continued
operation in this manner may result in property damage, serious
personal injury or death.
Select a Symptom.
- The
winch will not lower the load or the load doesn't lower
smoothly.
- Oil
leaks from the vent plug.
- The
brake will not hold a load with the control lever in neutral.
- The
winch will not hoist the rated load.
- The
winch runs hot.
- Winch
"chatters" while raising rated load.
- The wire rope
does not spool smoothly on the drum.
