New Storm Shelters Installed Using BRADEN Hoists

April 10, 2018

Surviv-a-Storm shelters installed at Okmulgee and Broken Arrow PACAR Winch locations using PD Serieh

The PACCAR Winch Team just had four new storm shelters installed using the same PD Series hoists manufactured in their facilities right here in Oklahoma. The four Survive-a-Storm shelters are solid steal units capable of keeping all of PACCAR Winch’s nearly 300 employees safe during severe storm and tornado events.

These massive shelters were installed using two PD Series hoists designed specifically to handle this type of heavy load. Popular on mobile and offshore platform cranes, the PD’s are capable of lifting up to 21,000 lbs each.

Two each of the Surviv-a-Storm Shelters were installed at PACCAR Winch’s Broken Arrow and Okmulgee facilities.

For more informatino on the PD family of hoists, contact PACCAR Winch by email (winchsales@paccar.com) or phone (918-259-1515). Find a local distritubor on the Distribution Map page.
