PACCAR Winch Launches a New Customer Experience
TULSA, OK – PACCAR Winch releases a new website focused on customer engagement and quality of service.
Customer needs and innovation are at the core of everything that the PACCAR Winch team does, and the comapny’s new website showcases that. The team began developing the interactive site in early January of 2015 with Ken Cook Company of Milwaukee, WI. The primary goal: build a platform based around a positive customer experience. The result is a vast undertaking and considerable upgrade from the previous website.
Innovations on the new site allow visitors to easily find products to fit their specific application, find the latest information available for Braden, Carco and Gearmatic brands, and get an enhanced view of product features. Authorized distributors will also be able to view customized products and interact with the winch team via the much improved Net Services portal. PACCAR Winch has also considered mobile use of the site, designing it to be scalable for mobile devices using Apple IOS and Android operating systems.
“We’re excited about what this will do for our customers,” says Michael Hopper, Marketing Manager for PACCAR Winch and head of the website development team. “It’s a project that means a lot to us and something that will benefit everyone,” Hopper says.
The customer-facing side of the site is only overshadowed by the technical improvements behind the scenes. Managing thousands of different product combinations, each with its own set of technical data and specifications, requires an intense focus on detail and accuracy. Members from PACCAR Winch’s Information Technology and Engineering Departments continue to work closely with Ken Cook Co. to provide network security, real-time updates and the most accurate product data.
