Broken Arrow, Oklahoma / February 1, 2023 – PACCAR Winch has announced its 2023 Service School class schedule. PACCAR Winch Service Schools provide Authorized Service Centers, Distributors, OEMs and their end users with the knowledge needed to perform service work on BRADEN and Gearmatic winches and hoists.

The schedule includes four sessions of the popular Standard Offshore Hoist course, which focuses on maintenance and service procedures per factory requirements. An Advanced Offshore Hoist Service School has been added for more experienced technicians, as well as two General Winch & Hoist sessions which will provide comprehensive instruction across multiple product lines.

Each program provides an overview of the products, applications, theory of operation, competitive advantages, troubleshooting, maintenance best practices and detailed service exercises. Courses are equally balanced between hands-on training and classroom learning.

Technical training provides a strong return on investment. Factory-trained technicians can perform service work that might otherwise go to unauthorized repair shops. Costly mistakes are minimized with technicians who know proper procedures for troubleshooting and repairs. In addition, parts and unit sales can increase with increased product knowledge and improved customer service.
